The future of Fate's Redemption...

This place is starting to smell like dead things. But it's not completely dead, I assure you.

Reaction and I have ditched our current source. It's too similar to other servers, and quite frankly, Project Insanity sucks. I'll admit, adopting PI was a stupid decision. Especially considering DarkScape X was so good.

Well, we plan on bringing the DSX source back under the Fate's Redemption name. We'll also be adding 474 items this time around, so it wont have that super old-school feel to it. And I love working with Shard Revolutions. It's just a pleasure to code.

It may be awhile though. We're not releasing the source till it's perfect this time around. No more constant server updates.

Oh, and if anyone wants the current source, you can have it. It's pretty advanced as far as PI goes.

We also plan on getting a much nicer forum, so be on the lookout for new URLs and such.

so the server will be reset again? will we get all the stuff we had again or not and what about me i been working for all my stats i had 99 cooking 99 wc 99 fishing a phat, etc willi get that back because i worked for it?

It's a total reset.
You need to expect that a bit when the server is new and just starting.

Hopefully there wont be anymore resets though.

Think of it this way, the server will be reset and I heard someone was duping or something and gave out a lot of items.
With this restart everyone is 100% sure that the items are gone.

dude its easy to get skillz up to 99 i had 5 and that was all combat

combat is easy and wc is like hard! and 99 fishing and cooking also hard because manta gave 500 xp each its hard for skills

Will the player files from last time be used, or will I have to train up my level, which I cheated to 99 last time?
Oh, and please fix the birdy sound thingy.

A tip of me, give rewards for voting, and add a system, that if somebody votes, he immediately gets the reward.
If the reward is good enough, you will get many votes in some days, more players will come, they take a look at the vote reward and vote too, easy to get players on that way. :d
The server of my other friend doesn't have such a system, I always have to check if someone voted, then I have to give him an item, the results were, when I'm not online, they don't vote..

I don't think there is any way for them to automatically get items from voting because it's not connected to the actual server.

It works, trust me.
I even knew a server, when a moderator did any command in game, that it was safed on files at a forum, so the other staff could check it.
And I've played some servers, where you automatically got items for voting. :d

good ur brining back ds but i couldnt download client could u fix that prob?

gareth, the client isn't available yet..

lols is dsx so if you were a beta ester or if you had the client befor all of the ds's got shut down then u wont have the problem
